I agree in general about Citizens United. Another thing to remember is that in this battle, it's the Murdoch propaganda machine + the Koch Bro money machine + the "ideological infrastructure" (Grover Norquist, AEI, Heritage and the army of bloviating pundits) + the coordinated voter suppression operation + redistricting + the Supreme Court that gave us Bush v. Gore and told the Citizens United lawyers to rewrite the brief so they could make the broadest ruling possible versus Will Roger's proverbial "No organized political party". I left out a few things in the first part, too. You got to fight the fight, but I'm not terribly sanguine about this war, internet or no internet. And this is before Frank Luntz cooks it all down to a pithy phrase or two to pound into the ground.
