Bob; Good comments. I agree with most of what you say. I also didn't like that part of the stimulus plan that went towards social safety nets - longer unemployment for instance. But my gosh, what would one expect after winning a democratic position in the WH? We might not like it, but it is silly not to have expected nothing going to those putting him in office. It sure as hell could have been worse! The one exception I take with you is on the energy issue. I too encourage energy from all sources; but since oil is a finite energy source and all the easy clean oil has been gotten, I favor moves towards other sources. Conservation, wind, solar, tidal, natural gas and of course nuclear.
