Quite right, it isn't "ban" in the ban-button sense. His refusal to contemplate and his own enthusiastic Pavlovian opinions about Team USA were the point. So it's ban from his point of view. But there is no existential crisis other than for the person who refuses to open their Schrodinger box to look outside to see whether their box is being inspected by physicist Winn. If a cat doesn't peek outside their box, is there an externality? Ghosts such as myself roam freely. But cats are curious. What are the chances that a bit of curiosity doesn't arise inside the box from time to time? Mqurice
