Specifically, what did I make up? That Bernake had destroyed the value of the dollar, and then all the doom and gloom that your imagination glean from that false premise. Yes the Fed has a lot of money on it's balance sheet... to provide liquidity if needed. That's what the Fed does, as the lender of last resort. That's what kept us from a depression, something you seem to dearly hope will happen. I have no clue what's going to happen in the next month much less 6 months or 6 years. I'm not emotionally invested in any scenario and I'm smart enough to know that I and everyone else are far to dumb to predict the economic future. It's a fools errand you're on MM.
