Rematches are always tough to win. Losing, as Alabama did, will fuel your passion for years, let alone the six weeks between the championship game and your last one. Alabama really had nothing to lose, whereas LSU had everything to lose. Overall, a pretty dull game IMO.

alabama had their number the last game too, they dominated LSU but couldn't put it away.

LSU never loosened the Al. defense with the passing game. That made Jefferson one dimensional so by the mid to late 3rd qtr I expected Lee to come in at QB.

Bobby Hebert (who has a son that plays for LSU....or played lol) blasted Miles in the post game press conference. Hebert came off as a complete dick
