lots of jobs, jobs, jobs in the eagle ford shale play in texas. new york does not want any of those kind of jobs or the kind the pennsylvania has with people spilling over the border. maybe new york has too many stock market timers who look at the ng/oil charts and figure they missed the move. :-)

Nucleation from a big rock (Kilometer or greater ) on impact sends everything out to phase boundaries.....the rapid deconstruction of the coherent effects of these blasts brings everything proximal through phase transition. Nothing survives, everything changes.

scale this up....watch it again, you will begin to get the message.

Big Dog (or is that Dwag?)

I took a day to visit a well in Lavaca County, near Yoakum. It's about 90 miles northeast of Three Rivers. Even that that far away I passed at least two places on the side of the highway where recently cleared land was filled with campers. A little dive restaurant/convenience store we stopped in had a help wanted sign for a cook, waiter, and cashier! We are talking about the crossroad of a small state highway and a county road.
