Excellent points, GZ. Speaking of Gingrich's disgraceful attacks from the left on Romney, it seems to have backfired in the worst way according to most polling data from Matt Drudge's website, where Gingrich is apparently receiving support below the level of Huntsman.

drudgereport.com

excerpt:

DRUDGE READERS IN NH VOTE:

ROMNEY: 33%
PAUL: 25%
SANTORUM 14%
HUNTSMAN 11%

---

It appears, as of this writing, that we're coming down to a three-man race between Romney, Paul, and Santorum.

Gingrich, Huntsman, and, of course, Perry seem out of it now according to polling date, which is subject to unscientific biasing. It will be interesting to see the final numbers and how it shakes out in NH tonight and in SC soon.

it's embarrassing to see a conservative attack from the left, and this is what Newt and the others are now doing with Mitt, it's disgraceful and shameful...

This is classic Gingrich - he will do and say anything to serve his own agenda. If it served his purpose he would make the argument for Bain being the way capitalism works and should work.

Like I have said, Gingrich is a totally unprincipled, unethical and amoral individual with delusions of grandeur. The irony is that Gingrich totally believes what he says at any point in time - and when he changes his mind and takes the opposite viewpoint he equally believes the contrary viewpoint.

Gingrich's comments about Bain are in line with Occupy Wall Street's credo. He will never acknowledge it but that is the reality. The only difference is that OWS believes in their cause - Gingrich believes in whatever will serve his purpose at any point in time.

Am leaving the US in a few hours for a couple of months to spend winter in warmer climes. Will try and check in from time to time.

Good luck to all!

I'm all for ending affirmative action, etc.....but til it is ended legally I respect the law....

I believe in creating conditions for equal opportunity, not guarantying equal outcomes.
