According to the non partison congressional budget office the tax cuts put us more in debt than the wars. And those two idems added most of the 5 trillion in debt bush piled on us in 8 years.

Bush increased the debt from 5 to 10 trillion, and he ended up his tenure by dumping us into a 1929 like depression losing 700000 jobs a month. One more year of bush and he would have burned down the country.
