Well, he wasn't my first choice either, my friend, but Obama must go! We don't have any other viable options right now. I believe Mitt Romney represents the greatest threat to Obama. I would like to think that Mitt has observed the conservative spirit of the Tea Party wing of the party, which endorsed him, understands the demands for significant changes to and reductions in the federal government. I would also like to believe that he has learned what happens to Republicans who shoot their mouths off in favor of illegal aliens and some of the other misguided ideas of the left. I would like for him to select Michele Bachmann or perhaps Rand Paul as his VP. Both scored quite high on the very conservative Freedom Index. Who would you like to see him select? If we can manage to get Romney elected, along with a super-majority of conservatives in both houses of Congress, including a very strong representation of Tea Party Republicans seated, we must keep the pressure on them to ensure that our nation NEVER faces the likes of an Obama hellion ever again. That does NOT mean going back to the age-old practice of pandering to minorities, illegals, and leftists in hopes of siphoning off a few of their votes beyond 2012. Instead, they must ensure... -- deportation of all illegal aliens and their anchor descendants -- that marriage is ONLY recognized between a man and a woman (no so-called "civil unions" for gays either) -- balanced budget amendment -- elimination of large sections of the federal government and numerous departments (e.g., Dept. of Education, Dept. of Energy, Dept. of Homeland Security, Dept. of the Interior, Dept. of Commerce) -- elimination of all forms of socialism (e.g., gradual phase out of social security, medicare, medicaid) -- elimination of all foreign aid -- full repeal of Obamacare in its entirety -- elimination of IRS/Federal Reserve -- reinstatement of gold standard -- significant and permanent tax reductions, especially capital gains taxes, property taxes, and income taxes -- implementation of strict firm limits and restriction on post-government careers for congressmen and presidents in corporate America -- significant increase in funding for the criminal justice system -- withdrawal from the United Nations -- extensive survey and repeal of all leftist laws that repress freedom and liberty within the original context of the U.S. Constitution -- full eradication of all affirmative action laws, EEO laws, civil rights laws, and other racist laws the force the will of the government on individuals -- full support of the complete freedom of association and the freedom to choose employees, students, contractors, customers, etc., based on one's personal standards -- full withdrawal of the government's advocation of and support/enforcement of multiculturalism
