I thought you might wish to learn how language really developed. A lot of people talk (foolishly) about the evolution of language and such nonsense, but I have studied the science of it in the bible which was written by the wisest person who ever lived and who speaks every single language. It started at the Tower of Babies where people had built such a high place of mud and bricks (and slime for mortar) and sticks and stuff that they became too efficient for Yahweh's sensibilities. So he said, "let all of us all go down and confound their language". Easy once you know how it happened and why. Although it does not say so, it does not take double brains to figure out that he changed all the physiognomy at this time as well and also. He gave different skin colors, different hair, different eyes, different immunities--everything that would match their new languages! According to the Book of Jubilees (which ought to know) the tower was 1.6 miles high! Pretty impressive for brick and slime! I wonder how wide the base was?? I bet they used the whole Plain of Shinar to build that mountain!! So that is how it was. Facts are facts. The Tower was built about 800 years after Adam bit the dust which means about 5000 years ago--just before the dinosaurs started getting sick. The oldest person in the bible was Methuselah at 969. Yahweh drowned him in the flood and this is one way we can be sure of our historical timeline as to when Cree and Ojibway and Mandarin and Celtic languages diverged from the original Hebrew.
