Nutella has 'made in Canada' on the label why i asked , bought thinking it was some kind of nut butter Candian equivilent of the Aussi vegemite and turns out its sugar & hydrogenated vegetable lard /cake frosting with a few nuts thrown in for flavoring ...if you ever going to be in extreme cold for long periods this stuff is as good as bacon fat prolly and tastes alot better ! (they do mix of 50% bacon fat flavored with nuts, raisins i think when hiking the north pole )

Earning's season starting & the need for energy is great so made up a batch of my own home made healthy version of cr@p "Nutella" without the "palm oil sludge" main ingredient...

1/2 fresh ground hazelnuts (shelled myself & ground)
1/2 roasted smooth almond/ peanut butter
1 can Condensed milk
Evaporated milk & a little skim milk powder
Jar of Smucker's Hot Fudge (ok , not so healthy )
Maple Syrup

heat all together stirring well .

( since i was mixing up a batch of pancake syrup , i make my own with honey & maple syrup )

Stuff is off~the~hook~wonderful can eat by the spoonful , going to experiment with adding some pure malted next with a touch of
vanilla and maybe some bee pollen & brewer's yeast for more protein.

LOving it !

;o)
