Is it my imagination or.....

Has anyone here noticed the following:

When the Asian markets tank, all the bulls on CNBC, SI, etc. talk about how that should have "no effect" on American markets.

When the Asian markets rise, the American markets rise, and then we hear on the news how this was due to "strength in the Asian markets".

The next day, Asian markets rise again due to "strength in the American markets".
