FasTrak DSL requires no new phone connections as it delivers high-speed data access over your existing POTS (plain old telephone service) line allowing you to use your voice line while maintaining your high-speed data connection.

That's a real plus. They use Alcathel Modems (Eric B. call PacBell), gotta have a NIC card (Go COMS), but PacBell really must not want this thing to catch on at those prices. $80/$150 per month, for 384K/1.5M service, prices me out of the market. (Oh well, PacBell isn't in my area code anyway.)

COMS seems to want to close at the 35 strike today. ASND seems to like 25 today. Uncanny the way that seems to work.

Oops maybe spoke a little soon, Coms heading up a bit.

BEFORE THE BELL - Dell up after results

NEW YORK, Nov 25 (Reuters) - Shares in Dell Computer Corp rose in pre-opening trade Tuesday after it posted quarterly
earnings that beat analysts' forecasts.

Dealers reported quiet trade as Thursday's Thanksgiving holiday neared. ''I think a lot of people have taken off already -- it's very
quiet,'' a trader said.

Dell was trading at 82, up from a Monday closing price of 79-12/16. The computer systems maker reported third-quarter earnings
after markets closed Monday of $0.69 a share, above analysts' consensus forecast of $0.65.

Despite the results, Dell fell to 78 in after-hours trading before rebounding to 78-1/2.

Among other active shares, Compaq Computer Corp (NYSE:CPQ - news) rose to trade at 61-1/2 from a close of 60. Both
Compaq and Dell had seen their shares drop more than three points Monday as the technology-laden Nasdaq exchange fell two
percent.

Finnish telephone equipment maker Nokia Group (NOKSa.HE) (NYSE:NOKa - news) was trading at 83, up from a close of
81-13/16.
