Personally, fwiw... I am in the flat camp for 2 to 3 years.

If we get a 2nd recession then we'll see a deflationary atmosphere... low rates

If stock market rallies on good news out of europe and china, stocks will climb higher fast... low rates

Interest rates will be slow to move higher, because wage inflation will be slow to move higher...

Protecting capital in safe places like treasuries, quality bonds and investing in quality dividend stocks seems valuable...

Gold/silver is not necessarily a safe haven, but worth owning some in the investment grade coinage...
Its nice to look at and hold...<smile>
