He repeatedly states he does NOT want to make a third party run.

Make no illusions - Paul wants a US that is more how he'd like it to be, than he would want to allow O bama another 4 years'

He does not want to be a Ross Perrot in history.

Speaking of Rand Paul in the Senate, he was one of the very few individuals in the 112th Congress to receive a grade of 100% from the very conservative John Birch Society's Freedom Index, which rates strict adherence to the U.S. Constitution by appraising all that matters... Congressional VOTES.

With that in mind, I certainly wouldn't mind seeing Romney tab him as his VP.
