"WHEEL TO WHEEL BUYING 70-STORE CHAIN, ALSO TARGETS NEW LOCATIONS"

Wheel to Wheel Automotive Service Centre is busy targeting growth via acquisition and new-storeopenings. Currently, one store operates, in Oakville, Ontario.

As far as new-store openings go, "we're targeting 30 locations," says Dan Masters, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wheel to Wheel. Furthermore, the company is in the process of buying a 70-store
chain. (The deal is expected to close February 1, 1998.)

Wheel to Wheel provides a range of automotive services, including repairs, tires, tune-ups and transmissions, and brake work. Locations can evolve three ways: in existing automotive spaces; in 3,000
sq.ft. to 5,000 sq.ft. spaces that can be renovated to become an automotive space; and build-to-suits, also of 3,000 sq.ft. to 5,000 sq.ft. High traffic areas are preferred.
