Kevin,

I had to jump out to ask a small question.

I have watched you trade with your system, and TT as well. Can you give what stats you have available of how successful you have been with it? What % of accuracy have you experienced? And when you get into a position, is it when you break 3 resistance points, then go either call or put automatic regardless of price? And what postions usually, current month or one + out? How many contracts?
Then once you are in the position, when are you out? If it is possible could you post when you close a position and which you are closing?

I am interested in this info and I am sorry if it is a bit verbose.

*back to lurking*

Hi, Kevin

...I didn't mean it as a criticism, Kevin - I have gone back through all of yours and Nemer's postings to figure out what the postings mean, and so forth. I have your formula, but I'm afraid I don't understand what "pivot point" really means -?

Second assault on OEX 926 just failed, now approaching Red Dog's last support at ~922-23.

Oh Sure! Been there, done that... :~) "My goal was to create a simple / non-emotional trading system where all I do is trade on the volatility and that is what I have."

The PROBLEM is that once the simple mechanical system has established a buy or sell signal, then the human system sits there sweating tick by tick.

The real problem, IMO, isn't getting on the bike.. or even going 80 mph through pine trees and parked cars... its deciding when and how to get off. If someone can please come up with a simple non-stick exit strategy both low and high... there's where the money can be made.

By the way, how the heck are yah, glad to see you back on line, weekend begins in about 3.25 hours.. then a party tonight where a bunch of us will probably start talking about the market all over again.

.. looking for a little slide next week as the euphoria over AMAT and IMF funding of Koreans gets washed by the reality of funding our own oversea's sales through aid and pricing cuts into expected margins.
