<<Is the PEW poll good enough for you? (Only Six Percent Of Scientists Are Republicans)>>

It doesn't matter. Scientists are generally liberal.

Most Republican's do not believe in evolution. 99% of scientists know evolution is as real as a heart attack. It is used in thousands of labratories around the world every day. So why would scieintst's join a philosophy they know has gotten something so fundamental wrong? They wouldn't and don't.

That is why 80% lean democratic. The Democratic party is the home of the liberal and every liberal I have ever known believes in evolution. So it is a natural fit and makes sense.

In an 08 Republican debate they had a show of hands among the Republcian nominee's as to who believed in evolution and every single person said they didn't. I think it is the same this year with the one exception Huntsman. who is at 1%.

A person cannot be president who does not believe in evolution, IMO. It is a very simple truth.
