I'm not aware that Tebow has ever credited God for his football victories. But, what else could he be praying for when he takes a knee in the middle of a game? World peace? <g> He seems like a fairly decent young man, raised in an Evangelical household. He's not responsible for those making him their proxy Jesus - but I think he'd be wise to discourage it.

Sure, for Evangelicals, good and evil is a team sport! Only it's like the Harlem Globetrotters and the Washington Generals - the Generals (Satan), ALWAYS lose! That's why the world is such a wonderful, Heavenly place! When they do bad, or have evil thoughts, it's not THEM - it's SATAN tempting them! THEY wouldn't ever have those thoughts or do those deeds without SATAN! Then, Jesus will forgive them - until the next time, when he'll forgive them AGAIN, and on and on, until they die and go to Heaven! It's perfect! They can do whatever they want, blame it on Satan, and then Jesus mops up their "sin" like some spilled communion wine! Wash, rinse, repeat!
