I don't think that is an issue at all. The Geneva convention protects the living.
The Geneva Convention Protocols protect living:
POWs, civilians, wounded fighters, medical and religious personnel



I should also say that the Geneva Conventions offer no protection to terrorists like the Taliban.

Panetta and Hillary should have known that before their ridiculous and emotional out bursts.
