Santorum is not a whacko, but don't think he is good presidential material either. He is from my home district and did quite wel in his tenure but lost some popularity as he became a spokesman for the far right. He is a solid conservative but was beaten by the young Casey quite readily in 06. The Casey family is a strong draw in Pa and not sure anyone would have beaten Casey in 06 when there was the start of a 2 election cycle that trended blue in a big way. You should be rooting for him to win the nomination as he would probably be beaten soundly by O. Neil
