Try Namibia, it does not have extradition treaty with the US. Malaysia makes it easy to attract expats. Thailand is a much preferred country for expats as well. I am expatriate by profession move from country to country as my job requires.

fwiw i think you should 1/ live in country 1 2/ passport of country 2 3/ have your money stached in different countries :-) all legaly possible for a belgian i dont know for a us citizen those who do evrything in 1 country will be toast imo

friends of ours, whose home is in idaho, have set up a household here in haida gwaii (aka queen charlotte islands) as well as in mazatlan, mexico. i'm talking complete households. stocked pantries, vehicles, .... the works. spend three months north, three months south, six at home base, but can move out and in at the drop of a hat. they are covering all their bases.
