Saw Bill Moyers piece on income inequality today on PBS. The political scientists (very sober guys - Jacob hacker and Paul Pierson) said it was engineered, by the rich and for the rich, and is a very serious problem for the welfare of our society. npr.org Even we progressives seem to have underestimated the power and influence of the plutocrats and the amount they have taken from the American people for themselves through unfair tax breaks and other means. What we hired Obama to fight and what we expect from the dems. It would be nice if the Republican's would help fight the robber barrons. This is the same fight Teddy Roosevelt and FDR had. As we progressives keep saying.
