Dave at all, the ingress noise and upstream paths can be cleaned up by sCDMA from Terayon. Also the scalability issues and channels upstream are being addressed by companies like HLIT. I think you guys may be overlooking one system that does not require a build out of fiber,LMDS. It has equivalent bandwidth and speed,and is now going digital 2-way reverse polarization. I anticipate the best telecom networks with be a combination of fiber and LMDS(where fiber does not exist). Read the CVUS thread for LMDS,they have pioneer status in the New York City area. Hiram
