Would you know of any such insider trading for the high tech companies, particularly the high fliers, besides Intel. I think the commodity and old economy stocks such as Du Pont etc. will come in low and in many cases below expectations.

I am wondering why companies with large corporate profits are not taking this opportunity to revamp/upgrade their high tech infrastructure. Talking about companies like Exxon etc. who still maintain a significant manufacturing presence in the US. Besides, India and China have increased their taxes on companies who are thinking of repatriating their profits back to their home countries. I hope the Obama Administration seizes on this opportunity and matches those increase through tax breaks here in order to facilitate the repatriation of funds/profits. Already, some companies have started to repatriate irrespective of Govt. incentives since they are discovering that the costs of manufacturing there almost equals the cost here.
