It is the war we cannot afford. The stationing of troops worldwide to purse a "cold war military strategy" that is outdated is what we cannot afford. besides, pursuing outdated strategy is not only expensive but puts this country at a greater military risk because the enemy is creeping up from elsewhere and not the Soviet Union which is now defunct.
