I've used that analogy myself to refer to something I had been going through. The question I had for some left inside the slowly heating pot was, "When is the exact moment the frog should jump out of the pot?" I have my answer to that. Anyone here care to offer theirs?

what i like about ron paul is his continuing to point out relentlessly the unconstitutional nature of the spending in so many areas.....so i consider him to be a voice of conscience that can have a good effect if he does nothing else but getting people to recognize the nanny state for what it is, it represents a 'taking' from one class and distributing it to others (after the pols and bureaucrats get their vig first) totally unconstitutional....
