Quite possibly this is granite dust or less likely greensand. Thirty years ago, I used granite dust in some small scale truck farming and while I had terrific results using the dust, I don't remember the precise nutrient constituents. However as I recall in general, the value came from a wide range of trace minerals. One of the advantages of granite dust is that it is naturally "time released" as it is actually finely ground granite. If I recall correctly, soluble Potassium was not one of the major traces. So, if this article relates to granite dust, it would not be a competitor to Verde's Potash.

While the granite dust takes about 5 years to completely release its nutrients is central North America. I suspect that the rate of nutrient release would be different in Brazil. There will be more rain but none of the freeze/thaw that helps to break up even fine particles.

With respect to cost, granite dust was extremely expensive when I used it thirty years ago and it was also in chronically short supply. I don't know the current price or supply characteristics but I suspect that it is still quite expensive due to the high cost of grinding granite. Granite is an extremely hard and abrasive material. It would quickly degrade the wear plates and grinding surfaces used in the production of dust. Maintaining and replacing that kind of equipment is very expensive.
