you're the one who needs to get a grip....as in a grip on the facts

it is right wing social engineering

i am totally in favor of giving ALL kids a chance....gingrich seems to be focused on inner city poor students

the best way for young poor kids to earn money is in the PRIVATE sector....

reduce the minimum age laws, ELIMINATE minimum wage laws

i didn't suggest all white kids were 'rich' quite the contrary, my point was it was addressed to helping 'poor students' (do the parents need to provide wage and income statements to qualify? just asking)

if you bother delving into his original statements that juan williams questioned him about, they were about poor inner city kids (read:black) building a WORK ethic, and he was talking about NYC inner city schools....those would be majority black students last i checked

I think the idea of having kids paid to do the job of some of the adult janitors is a good thing....ONLY proviso should be ANY student (no matter their color, parents income, number of parents or not, etc etc) Just any student that want to have a job.....let them earn their stripes and earn some money.....

Newt said keep one or two adults to supervise, and let the kids learn some basic skills (i.e. getting to the job on time, doing a good job, etc)
