You seem to be holding onto notions that were relevant in the world of yesterday. This applies to your political as well as economic expectations. This world has changed by leaps and bounds, a change brought on by technology and the speed with which information travels.

The US constitution was written over 200 years ago, the age of bullock carts and snail mail. What was relevant then is no longer relevant today. Even the situation during the days of FDR are vastly different than what we have today. No space travel, no TV, no Internet (emails etc.) etc. Technology has indeed added to our life's comfort. But it has also added to the ability of evil doers to achieve their evil designs. And to combat them, we need to adapt our ways. The stock market has realized that and changed their rules, introduced more controls so as to prevent harm to investors. The same is the case with our leaders in DC who are looking at ways to thwart evil doers. And in the economic world, we are in a turmoil because the weaker economies whose assets are a well educated labor force now have access to world markets with the flip of a switch.

So this has become a dynamic world requiring us to constantly change and adapt o changing situations. I find that you revel in remaining static, embracing conspiracy theories instead of accepting the reality. That seems to be your issue. I can understand Ron Paul, a octogenarian holding onto to the views he holds. But for folks younger than him to embrace all his ideas is really baffling.
