Precisely, GZ. If one were to say "all Black people look like gorillas, but all White people do not," that would clearly be racist.

The fact of the matter is that I think Moochelle Obama has an ape-like face. I certainly do not think that about all Blacks. The comment was only central to her as an individual. In my opinion, she has simian facial features. Therefore, when I choose to disrespect her by calling her a smelly gorilla, it is definitely not a reflection on her race. Instead, it's a reflection on her as an individual. Those who perceive my comments as racism must believe that all Blacks look like apes, otherwise they would not perceive it as racism.

The bottom line in all of this is that a person's looks do not matter. I disrespected her on purpose by calling her a smelly gorilla, because I regard her as unworthy of respect. I perceive her as idiot, but we've made every logical argument against her. Besides, openly expressing contempt and disrespect for the First Beeotch is honestly fun. -g-

...and she does have an ape-like face from my perspective, not that her looks or my opinion matters, but it's not racism.
