Yes, it is possible that the calling off of the US-Israeli exercises was a classic feint. Regrettably, the reality is probably more prosaic. More likely, Bibi must have concluded that the US presence in Israel was going to be tying down the Israelis far more than intimidating the Iranians. And if he would entrust the very survival of his people to the whims of our pretty bOy Narcissus in Washington, he'd undoubtedly be a traitor.
