Oh, I don't think so. The pipeline would provide construction jobs for two years, along with great environmental and terrorist risk, but that's it. The oil is destined for supertankers and foreign markets - we currently get all the oil sands production because they don't have that capability. The pipeline might actually RAISE the price of domestic gasoline.
