Choices are illuminating, as they say. This shows that Obama's environmentalist base comes first, when push comes to shove. Axelrod must have told him they don't have a hope if the base sits on its hands in November. They are already trying to soft-pedal the naysayer - can reapply later and blaming the veto on the do-nothing GOP Congress who in this case did something but it wasn't something that TFSP wanted so in that case doesn't count. Better get to work on that Mount Rushmore addition.
