Perhaps I didn't express myself correctly, Steve. What I meant to say is that this kind of comment came from none other than epp (whatever her nom de guerre is today) on VFC. And to hear you parrot that kind of group speak/think is disappointing.

No, but I have owned a company for 35 years. Of COURSE we tried to keep prices low.

I started mine in 1974. And of COURSE low prices combined with good service, keeps me going. That's capitalism spelled with a capital "C".

It is a debate between corporatalism vrs capitalism.

Perhaps you should clarify that a bit. I took your comments as a direct attack on WalMart and their efforts to punish their suppliers. I merely pointed out the fact that (from personal experience) American Airlines does the same, as do many others.

And that's not corporatalism (your choice of words; I prefer corporate responsibility), because I could have walked away from AA in a heartbeat. I didn't. They paid me and my company well for over eight years.
