I used to think she was conservative, but she has revealed herself to be liberal to moderate.

She was a right wing hero until she started sleeping with that repulsive piece of liberal swill, Bill Maher. Now I can't even look at her.

Good points, Peter. No candidate still running reflects my views or the views of most of my friends. I could write in a vote for someone who reflects my views and has absolutely no chance to win, or I could support the most electable candidate with views closest to my own. With that in mind, I will vote for Romney, even though he is not nearly conservative enough for my tastes. It's just that no candidate comes close, but he is the closest.
