<he is still in that attack his opponents mode>

If Santorum doesn't finish at least second in S.C., he should toss it in and hope that, his friend, Gingrich will give him the VP slot should Newt end up going to head-to-head with Obama.

Paul continues to hammer his 'bring the troops home from Korea, Germany' etc. He pretends that action will create enough money savings to significantly reduce the nation's debt. There is just one question which he has yet to answer to my satisfaction: Those troops he will be bringing home, along with the equipment etc. will still require defense outlays. So his claim of huge dollars savings is phony in many respects.

IMO, he would be wiser to argue curtail the dollars being given to foreign countries and to the UN. That would result in an actual savings versus his pretense that bringing home 50K GIs from Korea, Japan etc. as the answer.

Likewise with his cutting a trillion in his first year is incomplete. He doesn't tell us what happens to the thousands and thousands of government jobs which the closing of departments would create. He is all smoke and mirrors on this issue.

I've decided that when Paul provides an answer which includes his usual giggle, he knows he has been caught on a prior comment.

Anyone has a guess where Paul's supporters will go should he ultimately step down?
