<<And an IQ of 120 is no great shakes>>

An IQ of 120 is actually pretty healthy. The standard deviation for the Stanford binet is 14. So an IQ of 114 would be 50 plus 34 equals 84%. One standard deviation above and below the mean of 100 is 68% of the population (86 to 114). The next standard deviation is 13%. So add 14 to 114 and you get 128 which means 84 plus 13 equals 97% i.e. only 3% of the population has an IQ above 128.

That is from a 50 year memory. Don't mean to be a jerk, but a lot of people don't know that. Besides I pay no attention to IQ's. The geniuses are the folks who study.

Just started watching Temple Grandin. Wonderful. Wonderful.
