I'm sure they will, too, but right now, it is in big oil's interest for America to stay dependent on oil.

Not that there's anything wrong with that. Oil companies are and should be in business to maximize profits. But I'm glad to see smaller players getting serious about creating a market where NG vehicles become practical for long-haul trucking and ordinary cars. Big Oil companies will end up owning the business anyway. Which is the reason it makes sense for them to make all they can make off oil before any big transition to NG.
