I've heard it might be more then that. There may be some brewing physical delivery issues.

Silver strength is likely being driven by the Sprott Funds recent announced intention to purchase roughly 300 to 350 million dollars physical silver for their fund PSLV.

Last time they made a similar announcement, it kicked off a multi month rally. I expect the same to occur this time around with silver possibly peaking in Apr/May time frame based on seasonal considerations.
