Yup them remarkably tolerant Christians. "Christians" were pretty frickin' tolerant of child sexual abuse in relatively recent times, as long as it was tolerance of the perpetrators. They got a lawyered up and blamed their victims, until it was past being preposterous. It was internal punishment by company transfer, say halleluiah brother!! What a country!! In my lifetime they used to burn crosses on lawns, and received forgiveness for lynching ni#gers who were in the wrong place at the wrong time. And do we need to discuss how the Germans took care of the Christ killers and Communist Russian Jews??? The German Catholic and Protestant clergy were in broad support of the Nazis. Historical fact. Does this mean all Christians are evil as individuals?? Of course not. No more than all Muslims are evil. The "religion vs. religion" arguments are pure propaganda and fog over a too often tragic history. And the (unconditional) good done by the religious organizations is a beautiful thing.
