I'm not saying they are equivalents- but I would argue that the Greenspan and his ilk did a lot of damage with their Ayn induced political/economic twattle. And it's obvious Ayn wrecked at least one marriage- and happily espoused the philosophical correctness of that position (but didn't find it easy to take when loverboy wanted to move on.) I suspect she's influenced many cheating men and women to find in their cheating some sort of noble Aynishness- and that would be harm (not to hard to imagine that, now is it?) Did she burn anyone in ovens? Nope. But her philosophy is, imo, both personally and socially destructive- and thus as evil as any other corrosive philosophy. I wouldn't take it away from anyone, just as I wouldn't rip a Justine out of anyone's hands- but I don't approve, at all. sodahead.com
