I have no idea where president Newt would take the country, and I doubt he does either. Whatever idea he has, it would be different from day to day. People just don't remember why his own party deposed him as House speaker.

I think that is right on. Unless we actually end up electing Newt. Romney will only steal everything we have and give it to the rich, but he will not get us into a nuclear war. <<My gut feeling is.. Newt's win tonight is great news for Obama. He and Romney will be aiming bazookas at each other in Florida. God knows what dirt they'll be digging up and running in TV ads. There certainly is plenty to be had. My feeling is Romney is halfway sane, and on the off chance he is elected President, would move towards the center, despite his red meat rhetoric for the wingers in the primaries. But Newt.... if you ask me is an ego maniacal sociopath.
