not so many Chinese flocking to Seattle, many more in Vancouver....via the old commonwealth connection. Seattle has a large Asian community, but is widely dispersed across various Asian nationalities. Exactly. The larger influx into Seattle lately seems to be the Vietnamese.......not Chinese. And they tend to be much poorer. We are seeing a lot more foreign students from China, Vietnam, etc at Seattle area Universities. Yes. UW especially.........there was a big article about it. UW makes a lot of money off its foreign students because they pay significantly higher tuition.
