OK TWY, let's talk from a purely political angle then.

Don't like the scandals out of the Obama administration? Gingrich was involved in a few scandals of his own.

You can bet the media will treat those scandals as "hot off the press" news and make them dwarf those of the Obama administration. Might not work for the very conservative primary voters in SC, but they will work for the vast majority of the electorate.

In short, Gingrich will be the perfect opportunity for Obama to make this election not about his own abysmal record, but about how he's "not Gingrich."

And if the GOP is desperate enough to rely on a guy like that to run against Obama, I will have to make my opinion known in the loudest way possible, and that's by "considering voting for Obama." And if that makes me "nuts," so be it. I'm not a virgin at being flamed.
