Spike was our previous Tuxedo but he ran away twice and the second time we didn't find him. I must admit that he was my favorite cat, although, upon reflection, I would have to say that he was my favorite male cat as now Sophia, my 'daughter', is the 3rd love of my life after my wife and son. I read somewhere today that Tuxedos are 200% smarter than any other cat. I believe it with Spike. Everyone in our neighborhood knew Spike as he visited their homes daily and they fed him. At our house, he would only eat fresh cooked chicken breasts. He has been gone for a couple of years and I still miss him. The first time he ran off, he was gone for about 6 months and then one of the vets with whom we posted a picture of him, called us that a woman brought him in for treatment. He had her call us. She had found him wounded on the road, hit by a car and nursed him back to health. We were so grateful and had him for another 6 months before he disappeared again. He is part of the reason that we started feeding Bruno.
