Well, then I'm mistaken, and only all the other Kindles are made at Foxconn. I had read a piece saying that the Kindles were made at Foxconn, and made the incorrect assumption that this included the Fire.

Amazon is on the list of Foxconn's major customers. They contract for more than just the Kindle Fire.

Please compare and contrast Quanta's labor record with Foxconn's, since you apparently have such a great command of the facts. <sarcasm mode off>

You are ignorant too.

Sheech if you think Jeff Bezos went out of his way to find a kinder, gentler manufacturer you are dreaming.

Bezos is totally bottom line. He's also a member of the kind and gentle Bilderberg Group.

Some data comparing Quanta to Foxconn, and others…

"Researchers in China Labor Watch then created a grading evaluation system in order to easily compare the differences in their current labor situations. Our standards for evaluation are the following:"

1- Worst within the industry
2- Worse than some factories in the industry
3- Similar to other factories in the industry
4- Better than some industry factories
5- Best within the industry
