You are right. These delegate lists we are going to be seeing more and more are to some extent bogus. For instance they count the Iowa delegates for who ever won the straw poll. But the Iowa delegates don't have to vote for that winner if they don't want to. i';ve never seen a factual account of what fraction of the delegates are actually bound, even on the first vote.
