When I get down to Oregon I might get another animal. House is sure empty. I didn't realize how much I noticed her sounds and presence. Sort of lonely.

I love my cat, who I got as a shelter kitten, and is now sliding into middle age. I sleep in a loft, which he's learned to climb the ladder to reach, but jumps down about 5 ft, to get down from. All this talk about aging cats has me wondering when he'll jump down and break a bone!
