From what I could find out, the complaint is that Obama put pressure on the funding authorities to fastrack $500M in loans to Solyndra. So Obama was practicing crony capitalism. So I don't like that, but as you know, I'm all for America's big push into alternative energy. I think Obama has done more for alternative energy than all of the Presidents since Carter combined. I mean we have electric cars on the road now and a future of 35 mpg EPA standards. In addition, we've created a lot of green jobs and green companies that will stand the test of time. Yes, there will be blow ups along the way, just as their were in the Internet boom, but the country will be more well off overall as a result. He's really done well for our future in these areas. And btw, this is one of the things I can't get with the GOP. The GOP is anti-science and anti-alternative energy. That really bothers me. Luddites really irritate me.
